Flame-retardant hydrotalcite "HT-88F"

Instead of the soaring antimony, an environmentally friendly flame retardant additive, Hydrotalcite HT-88F!

Our company has been supplying hydrotalcite compounds for PVC resin stabilizers and agricultural film thermal insulation agents for many years. Based on the technology we have developed so far, we are now advancing into applications for flame-retardant resins. Antimony-based flame retardants are affected by rising raw material costs, but Sakai Chemical's hydrotalcite HT-88F effectively helps to partially replace them and reduce the amount of antimony used. It has a refractive index close to that of resin, ensuring transparency is not compromised, and it is also harmless to the human body. This achieves both a reduction in flame retardant costs and environmental compliance.

Flame retardant additive "DRAGONITE series"

The formation of char has the effect of reducing deformation and other issues when the resin burns!

The "DRAGONITE series" is a white powder primarily composed of high-purity halloysite. The particles are tubular in shape, with the exterior of the tube made of siloxane and the interior consisting of aluminohol. This structure provides a high density of active acidic sites on the surface. 【Features】 ■ The high density of active acidic sites generates char on the combustion surface when the surrounding temperature becomes high, along with the carbon in the resin. ■ The generation of char suppresses the supply of oxygen to the interior of the resin, exhibiting flame retardant effects. ■ By combining with magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide, which have different functions, the flame retardant effect is enhanced. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Flame retardant additive "Charguard"

Exhibits effectiveness as a flame retardant additive for thermoplastic resins (PE, PP, EVA, PA6, PS, and others).

"Charguard" is an organic clay-based flame retardant additive designed for thermoplastic resin applications. It enhances the performance of halogenated and non-halogenated flame retardants such as alumina trihydrate (ATH) and magnesium hydroxide (MTH). Additionally, it improves the effectiveness of flame retardants and the properties of plastic components, ensuring compliance with stringent fire safety standards. 【Features】 ■ Low environmental impact (PFAS-free, halogen-free) ■ Synergistic effects with flame retardants ■ Suppression of dripping and flame spread (replacement for PTFE) ■ Promotion of char layer formation ■ Reduction of smoke generation ■ Improved thermal stability *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Layered silicate "CLOISITE-20 A"

It is possible to reduce the amount of added aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide!

"CLOISITE-20 A" is a layered silicate suitable as a flame retardant additive for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastics, as well as for improving the physical properties and gas barrier characteristics of thermoplastic compounds. The gas barrier properties against oxygen, water vapor, and hydrocarbon molecules can be enhanced by using this product. Additionally, in thermoplastics such as polyamide (PA) and bioplastics like polylactide (PLA), it increases melt viscosity and enables improved dimensional stability during profile extrusion. 【Features】 ■ Improves flame retardant properties, anti-dripping characteristics, and char formation ability, making it particularly suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic compounds. ■ Can reduce the amount of aluminum/magnesium hydroxide added. ■ Enhances productivity and physical properties while reducing specific gravity. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Layered silicate "CLOISITE-SE 3000"

It can enhance gas barrier properties to oxygen, water vapor, and hydrocarbon molecules!

"CLOISITE-SE 3000" is a layered silicate particularly suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic compounds. By using this additive, flame-retardant properties, dripping behavior, and char formation are improved. Processability and physical properties are enhanced, and density is reduced. Compared to standard layered silicates, the use of this product results in higher melt flow rates, elongation, and electrical properties, especially in HFFR (halogen-free) cable formulations. 【Features】 - Flame-retardant aid for halogen-free thermoplastic plastics - Suitable for improving the physical properties and gas barrier characteristics of thermoplastic compounds - By adding this, the amount of other flame-retardant additives such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide can be reduced *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
